Project Overview / 프로젝트 개요

This project is to do the branding and UI design of the dog fitness tracker and set up the persona. Currently, as the population raising companion dogs is increasing, interest in the health of companion dogs is also growing. Therefore, we proposed a brand of dog fitness tracker so that you can check and manage your dog's health more elaborately. Starting with competitor analysis and research, I designed the name and logo of the brand and decided on the overall theme. Based on this, I designed an application and web.

이 프로젝트는 반려견 건강 추적기의 브랜딩과 UI 디자인을 하고 페르소나를 설정하는 것입니다. 현재 반려견을 키우는 인구가 늘어나면서 동시에 반려견의 건강에도 관심이 커지고 있습니다. 이에 반려견의 건강을 보다 더 정교하게 체크하고 관리할 수 있게 반려견의 건강 추적기의 브랜드를 제안하게 되었습니다. 경쟁사 분석과 리서치를 시작으로 저는 브랜드의 이름과 로고 디자인을 하였고 전체적인 테마를 정하였습니다. 이를 바탕으로 앱 디자인과 웹디자인을 하였습니다.

Ideation / 아이디어

The reason I want to suggest this dog fitness tracker is that I am also the owner of 2 dogs. As the dogs get older and older, their health is a top concern and priority for owners because they are our family. A dog fitness tracker plays a very important role in helping your dog live a longer and spend a healthy life. However, this dog fitness tracker that I proposed has a clear difference from products currently on the market. First, it recommends customized exercises according to the type, size, weight, and age of your dog. Second, it checks how many calories your dog should intake and consume. Third, you can consult with a veterinarian through this app if you need help. Fourth, it can help you find a dog walker. With these differences, I planned the PawFect project.

제가 이 반려견 건강 추적기을 제안하고자 하는 이유는 저 또한 반려견 2마리를 보호하고 있는 보호자이기 때문입니다. 반려견들의 나이가 점점 들어가면서 보호자들의 가장 큰 관심사이자 우선순위는 그들의 건강입니다. 왜냐하면 그들은 우리의 가족이기 때문입니다. 반려견 피트니스 추적기은 반려견이 건강한 상태로 오래 살 수 있게 도움을 주는 매우 중요한 역할을 합니다. 하지만 제가 제안한 이 반려견 건강 추적기는 현재 시중에 판매되고 있는 제품들과는 분명한 차이점이 있습니다. 첫째, 반려견의 종류, 크기, 체중 및 연령에 따라 맞춤형 운동을 권장합니다. 둘째, 반려견이 섭취하고 소비해야 하는 열량을 확인합니다. 셋째, 도움이 필요할 시 수의사와 상담이 가능합니다. 넷째, 도그워커를 찾을 수 있는 시스템이 있습니다. 이러한 차이점을 중심으로 저는 PawFect 프로젝트를 기획하였습니다.

Logo Design / 로고 디자인

PawFect is a combination of 'Perfect' and 'Paw'. In British pronunciation, the word 'Perfect' sounds similar to 'PawFect' because the R sound doesn't sound like it. "Perfect" refers to the puppy's health and "Paw" refers to the puppy. It is named so because it is a dog fitness tracker for perfect dog health. Also, as a device for dogs, customers can gain trust in the brand from its name.

As it is a device for companion dogs, I chose a round and playful font with dark navy blue and an arch effect, and a dog illustration design was placed in the middle. Also, at the bottom, PawFect's slogan 'Perfect Pet Life' is placed using a thin but clear font so that the meaning can be conveyed accurately.

PawFect는 'Perfect'와 'Paw'를 결합한 혼합어입니다. 영국 발음으로 단어 'Perfect'는 R 발음이 소리가 나지 않기 때문에 'PawFect'와 비슷하게 들립니다. "Perfect"는 강아지의 건강을 나타내고 "Paw"는 강아지를 나타냅니다. 완벽한 반려견 건강을 위한 반려견 건강 추적기라서 이렇게 이름을 붙였습니다. 또한 반려견을 위한 디바이스로써 고객들이 브랜드 이름으로부터 이 브랜드에 대한 신뢰를 얻을 수 있습니다.

반려견을 위한 장치인 만큼 어두운 남색과 아치 효과가 있는 둥글고 장난스러운 폰트를 선택하였고, 중간에는 강아지 일러스트 디자인을 배치했습니다. 또한 하단에는 PawFect의 슬로건인 'Perfect Pet Life'가 의미를 정확하게 전달될 수 있게 가늘지만, 선명한 서체를 사용하여 배치했습니다.
